Archaeology and History
Research Interests:
Early medieval Cornwall, with an interest in territorial structures, trade and exchange, assembly sites, settlement patterns, standing / inscribed stones, place-names, cemeteries and evidence of mediterranean imports.
Medieval rural settlement and agricultural land use patterns in the South West Peninsula, with a particular emphasis on the differences which emerged between Cornwall and Devon in terms of the historic landscape.
