Yury Matthews is a zooarchaeology PhD reseacher at the University of Exeter, supervised by Dr Carly Ameen and Prof Alan Outram.

 

Her research project focuses on the bioarchaeology of equestrianism in Britain, with a focus on the pathology of late medieval horses and the development of contemporary riding and working horses.
